My first Scuba Diving Experience

25th Sept 2009 - 27th Sept 2009

It took me so many years to come by to fulfill this "Scuba Diving" dream. I enrolled my "PADI Open Water Diver" course with "Deep Blue Scuba" The package come with 02 theory Classes, 01 Confined pool practical and a 3days 2 night diving trip to Malaysia - Pulau Aur (somewhere near Tioman and Dayang).
I was kinda excited, bought a new set of Diving Mask and Snorkeling set to bring along for the dive.

25th Sept, I reach Deep Blue Scuba at 6.40pm. Went up with 2 ladies on the lift. Apparently, we are on the same trip to Aur. Fill up some forms before boarding the bus embarking our journey to Malaysia - Mersing. We reach Mersing at 2330hrs. And took a ferry to Palau Aur in a 5hr boat ride. I fell asleep during the sea journey. Maybe due to the late previous night. It was about 5am in the morning. Took our room keys and sleep early to prepare myself for thew first dive in my life.

26th Sept, woke up at 7am. Took a good breakfast then see off for my first Dive. My "Dive Instructor El Lee" A fun, cheerful and a good Diving Instructor. Every dive with him, we learn a lot of new things. Done up with the 3 dives today. Wow!!! its really nice, cool and refreshing seeing beautiful reefs, corals and fishes.

27th Sept, woke up 6am to rush for a quick breakfast and a Boat dive the current were too strong, we abort the dive and went back to do a platform dive instead. Saw a Giant Jelly fish, 0.8 m of body and up to 1.5m of tentacles. Way too dangerous get near....The final dive at "Crocodile's Island", no crocodiles there. But the shape of the island looks like a croc. We saw very beautiful corals there and scallops, a schools of fishes came by and a did an ascending...

Went back to resort, bath pack and go back to Singapore.

Losing WEIGHT

After 14 sessions of training (93.11km so far), results shown clearly indicate that I am losing weight. Initially, about a month ago in August I was 79.9kg, now I am 75.8kg. It feels great, motivated and rewarding to see myself losing weight. Having a healthier, slimmer body.

It is really frustrating when friends mentioned, "Hey Jacky, you had putted on weight", but now its cool when friends said. "Hey, I think you are slimmer now". I will continue to do my regular runs. Increasing my stamina, speed and determination while enjoying shedding pounds. Thanks to my good friends' motivation and Nike-plus products. They are really cool man. Running becomes a part of me already.

Thief who want to steal my Dog

Yesterday,

A heartless couples tried to steal my dog when they were stop by my neighbors. A young boy saw my dog "Shadow" hugged by this couple and he questioned the couple: "Is this your dog?" They replied :"Yes" Indicating the intentions of keeping the dog themselves. My mum and neighbors was searching hard for the dog. Then Mechanic uncle saw the couple, questioned him.

Mechanic:" Is the dog yours?".
Man (Thief): "No".
Mechanic: If its not your dog. Please leave the dog here. The owner is searching for it already.
Man (Thief): "I am just playing with the dog."
Mechanic: Please leave the dog here.
Man (Thief): No, I got to go now. (give name card to mechanic)

=> JY: He was smart, as he knows Mechanic know he tried to steal the dog act by giving his name card.

The thief ran with "Shadow" and drove the car away.

My dad called his mobile and he drove back and return the dog.
When we asked him why he drove away with our dog. He replied that he was protecting the dog. I afraid other people took it.
(How hypocrite he is. Just to cover up his evil thoughts)

He even said: "How much is your dog? I am a Manager, you think I no money buy meh?"
My mum replied: "Its not about Money. It's not right to just take the dog and drove away. If the mechanic didn't stop you. Who can we look for the recover Shadow?"

They paused and said:"I live around this area one, I am your neighbor. You all talk so rude I also don't want to be your neighbor."
Mum replied: I don't know you at all. Never see you here before. And we don't think we regard you as our neighbor as well.

Dad: We gonna make a police report for you intentions of stealing and kidnapping our dog.
Man (Thief): Go la, think I scared ah. Go la...

And he left.

Summary:

This couple is not honest. They tried to cover up by saying the dog is theirs initially. Even thought he was caught red-handed, he tried to cover up by acting to be a hero. Proclaiming they are trying to protect the dog.

1. This couple was told to leave the dog behind. But drove away with the dog.
2. Act as if got money is big deal. (Its not about money, our dogs is part of our family) - He won't understand one. People like them treat dogs just like toys which they think is just money can buy.
3. I felt that if he really is sincere in helping us to safe keep the dog. He should stay with the Mechanic till the we find them. Anyway we are within the vicinity and would arrive shortly. But if their heart really have the intention of stealing and keeping "Shadow" as their own procession. Then woe to them and may they may punished for Stealing.

Jacky the new - Nike+ Runner

Just finished my 20 sessions of RT. The only thing to describe is weakness. I can't barely run at all. 2.4km and my timings sucks and fail. Thus, my new aim is to regain my fitness in-terms of running.

I was fascinated by Nike products. They are able to design a shoes that is so comfortable to run with and it is very stable. Together with Nike + system.



I am able to trace and upload all my running data and performances and an online coach to monitor and guide me in preparing for my Standard Chartered 1/2 Marathon. My goal is just to finish the run and reach the destination. Hope that I can be able to achieve it. Just to make it more interactive I had added my, "Nike+ mini" an online animated gif to animate me and my summary performance.

RT in Bedok FCC

Failing ippt have never cross my mind during my Regular days in Airforce. I ought to pass it. As it the the basic requirements in the Force. However, after a couple of years leaving the force. I fail and was awarded RT session by the Government. Left office early and wake up on early Sunday mornings for training sessions.

It becomes a routine.... Today is my 4th training session. 1st phase 8 sessions. I am half way there. Hopefully I can pass the ippt with a Silver award. The cash award is more pratical...

mosiac season over

After 2 weeks of Music festival - Mosiac. Its over once again. I guess the best is still "S.M.V", it really open my music horizon. I got an opportunity to watch "mike stern" the well know Electric guitarist who played with Marcuss miller, Jaco pastrious. "Who let the cats out?" Drinking a ice cold beer - Heniken. Enjoy the music standing.

Lunch Blogging - Pls Lose Weight, Jacky

Another week had passed, I just finished my 6" Subway, Turkey Breast Bread for lunch. Determined to slim down and lose weight, I am really astonished and sad to know my statics when I went to tailor a shirt yesterday.

I used to be a very skinny boy. Malnutrition type who don't eat. Now eat, drink and seldom exercise. I am afraid I can't run that well anymore when I was in the Airforce. 2 years had past, and now I am the flabby Jacky..... Everyone sees me say I put on weight. Everyone see me say I should go for a Diet. It damm sad. I can't imagine mysld keep putting on weight for another couple of years.

THUS FROM TODAY ON, I WILL EXERCISE!!!! I WILL LOSE WEIGHT!!! I WILL GO ON DIET!!!

*Dear Readers, you are my witness. Give me your support, encouragement and do pray that i will be Thin again. Thats my usual self. Not the "Putted on weight Jacky"

1115hrs, the timing to start work today. Its really different working in an SME company and MNC or Corporation. This year boss is very good. gave us extra holidays and today 开门大吉 timing is 1115hrs. maybe this is 正字. I am really looking forward to work. As over the past few weeks. I am serving my reservist. Hope that I can really pick up faster. Close more sales and have a better year.

Losing Majung

Today went to Boss's house. Was very happy to see all my friends once again after a long In Camp Training. We had nice Katong Laska and the usual Chinese Sashimi. "Lou Yu Sheng".

After that played 2 rounds of Mj. Very sad still losing. When will my luck come back????

i was thrill and fascinated man. I am really looking for to explore and learn more stuff there. Package includes Hotel lodging, food, an exclusive standard instrument (i.e Electric bass or guitar), lessons, jamming session, tour sessions, meeting up the artists etc...I am imagining how cool it was to have a nice holiday there with my darling and at the same time open up my music exposure and horizon. Gonna save more money. Maybe honey moon can try U.S for "Fender University" and some extra days to tour around U.S
